Hamlet to Hamlet Woodland Footpaths Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Take Place on Saturday
The event will take place at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor at 9 a.m.

The Town of Southampton and the Southampton Trails Preservation Society will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the inauguration of the Hamlet to Hamlet Woodland Footpaths.
The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor.
At 10 a.m., the Southampton Trails Preservation Society will offer the choice of two guided hikes from Mashashimuet Park:

- The hike to Bridgehampton is 3.7 miles, passing through the Greenbelt along Long Pond and Crooked pond, then following the old railroad right of way to the junction of Lumber Lane and the present railroad crossing a short walk from the Bridgehampton train station.
- The hike to Noyac is 5.3 miles, crossing from the Greenbelt into the Mulvihill Preserve along the Middle Line· right of way, then along The Bridge golf course north to Trout Pond.
Free bus service will be provided back to Mashashimuet Park.
