The Hampton Library to Launch 'Fridays at Five'
The 2015 season will kick off on July 10.

The Hampton Library will be launching the 2015 season of ”Fridays at Five” on July 10.
Fridays at Five is a long time tradition for the Library and “The Hamptons.”
For more than 30 years, the Library has hosted a variety of well-known authors on Fridays in July and August.

This year’s season will kick off with Pulitzer Prize finalist Colson Whitehead who will discuss his book, The Noble Hustle: Poker, Beef Jerky and Death, a non-fiction account of the 2011 World Series of Poker.
The New York City resident is the recipient of a Whiting Writers’ Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and a MacArthur Fellowship.

The event will take place at the library, located at 2478 Main Street in Bridgehampton. The gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and the event will take place form 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets cost $20 each and $80 for a book of five tickets.
The evening will begin with wine and hors d’ oeuvres prepared by the Friends of the Hampton Library.
The author will speaks, answers a few questions and then attendees have an opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed.
All of the money collected including the price of admission and the sale of the books goes directly to The Hampton Library.
