Hampton Library's Proposed 2015 Operating Budget Approved
Residents voted to approve the budget and elected five residents to the Board of Trustees on Saturday, Sept. 27.

The proposed 2015 operating budget for the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton was approved by voters on Saturday, Sept. 27.
In the Bridgehampton district, voters approved the budget 38 to six. In Sagaponack, voters unanimously approved the budget nine to zero.
Voters also elected five residents to the Board of Trustees on Saturday.

Bridgehampton residents elected John Vendetti, running unopposed, for his first term. He received 42 votes.
Three trustees ran for reelection, all unopposed. Dr. Louise Collins was elected for her second term with 45 votes, Tom House also ran for his second term with 44 votes and Jackie Poole was reelected for a third term with 42 votes.

Matthew Rojano, running unopposed, was unanimously elected as Library Trustee for his first term by the Sagaponack voters.
All trustee terms are three years and three months and begin Wednesday, Oct. 1.
