Jersey Cyclist Promotes Fall Ride Through Hamptons
The Bicycling Touring Club of North Jersey President says the Hamptons has a lot to offer cyclists.
The Bicycle Touring Club of North Jersey has taken an annual fall trip to the Hamptons, and club President Ethan Brook encourages other cyclists to take advantage of the East End during the quieter months.
"Now that the summer pilgrimage is over and the tourists have departed, you can take advantage of lightly traveled roads, fall foliage, pumpkin fields, tastings at local wineries, great restaurants, and a chance to breathe in that fresh air along the beautiful beaches," Brook writes at North Jersey.com.
The Bicycling Touring Club of North Jersey encourages this 29-mile route through Bridgehampton, Southampton and Water Mill, which starts at the .

"As you bike around, check out the windmills that are scattered around the towns in the Hamptons," Brook writes. "Want to see how the other half lives? Many of the back roads hide mind-boggling estates."
