Jogger Struck By Work Van In Water Mill: Police

WATER MILL, NY — A female jogger was struck by a work van in Water Mill Wednesday morning, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 7:07 a.m.; several patrol vehicles responded to the scene where Mary Ann Jules, 61, was struck. The driver of the van remained at the scene, police said.

The Suffolk County Police Department's aviation unit transported Jules to an
area hospital in serious condition, police said.
