See who took the lead Tuesday with just 3 districts left to be counted.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — The voters have spoken: Suffolk residents went out to the polls Tuesday to choose who will represent Suffolk County's 1st Legislative District and incumbent Al Krupski, a Democrat, emerged the winner against opponent Republican Remy Bell of Riverhead.
Krupski garnered 13,033, or 59.37 percent, of the votes, compared to Bell's 8,911, or 40.59 percent.
The 1st legislative district is geographically the largest of the 18, stretching more than 70 miles from Middle Island in Brookhaven Town, through Riverhead and Southold Towns, to Fishers Island.

Krupski, a farmer who also ran on the Conservative line, said he ran again because he lives in "a great community that is a pleasure to represent. I find my involvement is important in addressing many issues.'
The East End, he said, "is facing unprecedented development pressure; it takes collaboration between all of the stakeholders, in all levels of government and the community, to forge our future. Change is inevitable, but it needs to meet the needs of the community."
