Local Village Elections to Take Place Friday

Elections will take place in the villages of Southampton, Westhampton Beach and Quogue.

Polls will be open on Friday for Village Elections in Southampton, Westhampton Beach, and Quogue.

In Southampton Village, the election will take place from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Southampton Cultural Center on 25 Pond Lane.

Southampton Village Mayor Mark Epley and trustees Bill Hattrick and Nancy McGann, are all running unopposed for two-year terms.

In Westhampton Beach, the election will take place until 9 p.m. at Westhampton Beach Village Hall on 165 Mill Road.

Incumbent trustees Hank Tucker (who is seeking his fifth two-year term) and Patricia DiBenedetto (who is seeking her third two-year term) are running against challengers Brian Tymann and Rob Rubio.

In Quogue, the election will take place until 9 p.m. at the Quogue Firehouse on 117 Jessup Avenue.

Quogue Village Trustees Randy Cardo and Ted Necarsulmer are being challenged by William Horak for two year terms and Alan Lazarescu is running unopposed for a four year term as Village justice.
