Man Charged In Southampton Christmas Day Shooting Death: PD
The Hampton Bays man was charged in the shooting death of a Southampton man who was found dead in his home on Christmas morning, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested Sunday and charged in the iChristmas Day shooting death of a man in his Southampton home, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, homicide squad detectives arrested Dominick Parisi, 57, of Janice Lane; he was charged with second-degree murder, police said.
Parisi was held overnight at Southampton Town Police headquarters in Hampton Bays and arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court on Monday, police said.

Steven Byrnes, 53, Roses Grove Road in Southampton was identified as the man killed in his home on December 25, police said.
Southampton Town Police Department officers responded to a call regarding a burglary at the residence at 8:45 a.m. Christmas morning, police said. Upon arrival, officers found Byrnes shot inside the home, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.
