Man Charged With Speeding While Intoxicated In North Sea: Police
He was arrested on Sunday, police say.
NORTH SEA, NY —A Southampton man was arrested Sunday and charged with speeding while intoxicated in North Sea, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Lurwin J. Casocarranza, 40, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. on North Sea Road after he was seen speeding. He was stopped and found to be driving while intoxicated, police said.
Cascocarranza was arrested, taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing, and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, as well as speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from lane unsafely, driving to left of pavement markings, and illegal signal/ slow without signaling, all infractions, police said.

He was held for morning arraignment, police said.
