Man Threatens Another With Knife: Police

FLANDERS, NY —A Flanders man was arrested and charged Saturday after he threatened someone with a knife, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 7:04 p.m. at a home on Flanders Road. Ralph Maffei, 57, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony; second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor; and second-degree harassment, a violation, police said.

He was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, police said.
