More Than $16K Stolen From Resident's Account At LI ATMs: Police
Police say they are searching for whoever stole $16K+ through ATM withdrawals in Hampton Bays, Southampton, Riverhead, and Amityville.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Police are asking for the public's help to find whoever made a string of withdrawals totaling more than $16,000 with a credit card stolen from a Southampton resident, police said.
A woman made a fraudulent ATM withdrawal at Chase Bank in Hampton Bays on June 22, Suffolk County Police and Southampton Town Police said. A total of more than $16,000 was stolen from the Southampton resident's bank account through multiple withdrawals at Chase Banks in Southampton, Hampton Bays, Riverhead, and Amityville, police said.

All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
