• The Big Duck to Light Up Purple in Recognition of Overdose Awareness & Recovery Month • Southampton, NY ' I Love Hamptons (ilovehamptons.com) — Southampton-area residents are invited to gather at the Big Duck in Flanders on Monday, August 31, as it's lit purple to honor International Overdose Awareness Day and kick off National Recovery Month. Organized by HUGS, Inc. and SAFE in Southampton, the event encourages conversations about substance use, naloxone training, stigma reduction, and community support for families across Southampton Town.
