FLANDERS, NY — Police need help to identify the male pedestrian who was struck by two separate vehicles in Flanders on Sunday night, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, at 7:29 p.m., several 911 calls came in for a pedestrian who had been struck at the intersection of Flanders Road and Route 105. A 46-year-old from Madison, Connecticut, who was driving a Mercedes SUV and turning from Flanders Road onto Route 105, struck the pedestrian when he ran out in front of the car, police said. That crash sent the pedestrian into a lane of travel, where he was struck by the second vehicle, a 2013 Honda Odyssey driven by a 37-year-old Riverhead man, police said.

The Southampton Police Department's detective division said they are looking for any information on the pedestrian to properly notify the next of kin.
