PHOTOS: Purple Haze Wins Maycroft Cup

The 's Maycroft Cup Regatta was Saturday, starting in Shelter Island Sound racing into Gardiners Bay to the MOA buoy off Ram's Head and finishing at the Sag Harbor breakwater.

Lee Oldak and Dan Kalish, in a Henderson 30 named Purple Haze, placed first in the top spinnaker division and won the Maycroft Cup. George Martin in Osprey got the gun winning Spinnaker Division 2.  In Division 3, Bruce Dinsmore and Joan Worthing took first racing non-spinnaker.

In the non-spinnaker class, Joe Gaites in his Ranger 29 boat Bellatrix won, also taking home the Havens Cup.

In the one-design class, Wayne and Carol Morse placed first in their J-105 Roxanne and won the Ron Lowe Cup.
