PHOTO: Thiele Congratulates Met John Franco

New York State ., I-Sag Harbor, congratulated former Met John Franco last Monday for being inducted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame and being honored by the state Legislature for his commitment to preserving Italian-American heritage as well as his outstanding achievements. Franco was a star relief pitcher and team captain. His son, J.J. Franco, will be playing for the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League's Sag Harbor Whalers this summer.
