Police ID Identity Of Man Whose Body Was Found In Riverside: PD
He was found in the woods across from the county center recently, police say.
RIVERSIDE, NY — Southampton Town police have identified the man whose body was found recently in the Riverside woods as Adam Jackson, 39.
According to police, on Friday, Sept. 1 at about 11 a.m., a person walking in the wooded area across
from the county center on County Road 51 in Riverhead located a deceased man.
The person notified law enforcement and Southampton Town police patrol officers and detectives responded, as did Suffolk County homicide detectives, Suffolk County Crime Scene and the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The man's body was removed and transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.
No foul play is suspected and the investigation is continuing, police said.
