SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Authorities are offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the driver of a vehicle that damaged property on a Southampton golf course while fleeing police in June.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a fast-cash reward of $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case; the reward will be issued within 72 hours, police said.

Southampton Town Police were attempting to stop a 2007 gray, 4-door Acura with Florida plates HEAE90 when the vehicle fled, crashing through two security gates at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, located at 200 Tuckahoe Road, on June 3, police said. The vehicle was found abandoned and burned on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation on June 11, police said.
