Riverhead Man Charged With DWI In Southampton: Police
He's facing a string of charges, including a felony, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY —A Riverhead man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Southampton recently, police said.
According to Southampton Village Police, on September 18 at 5:12 p.m., Jose O. Gonzalez-Rivera was arrested on North Sea Road and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operations, a felony, and DWI, false personation, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operations, and circumventing an interlock device, all misdemeanors.
Gonzalez-Rivera was stopped for multiple vehicle and traffic infractions while driving a 2000 Dodge Dakota; he was charged, processed, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
