The elementary school students learned at an assembly earlier this month.

Sag Harbor Elementary School students recently had the opportunity to learn about the Pierson Robotics team at an assembly.
During the event, members of the Robotics team showed a video of their robot’s Frisbee throwing performance at last year’s FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition in St. Louis.
Students also learned that this year, the Robotic team is participating in a Recycle Rush competition, which is a recycling-themed game played by to alliances of three robots.
