Search Continues For Thief Who Stole 'Welcome To Flanders' Sign

FLANDERS, NY — The search continues for whoever swiped the "Welcome to Flanders" sign, adorned with an image of the Big Duck, last week, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town police are asking for the public’s help to find the thief: The “Welcome to Flanders” sign, which was located on the corner of Pleasure Drive and County Road 104, was stolen sometime during the overnight hours of Feb. 9 to Feb. 10., police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, utilizing a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com.
