Southampton Man to be Sentenced in Crash That Killed Golf Caddy Neil Fyfe
The sentencing is scheduled for Friday.

A Southampton man who pleaded guilty to manslaughter and DWI charges is scheduled to be sentenced Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Central Islip, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota.
Jesse Werner Steudte, 21, was sentenced to four to 12 years in state prison by State Supreme Court Justice Fernando Camacho, according to the DA.
Steudte ran a red light and hit bicyclist Neil S. Fyfe, 29, of Jupiter, Florida who was crossing County Road 39 at Sandy Hollow Road last May, the DA said.

Fyfe, who was employed as a caddy at a Southampton golf course, died of his injuries at Southampton Hospital.
