Southampton Police Report

Four arrests in total were made in the Town of Southampton during the Memorial Day weekend.

Southampton Town Police report the following arrests over the Memorial Day weekend:

  • Ever Cruz-Galdamez, 19, of Riverhead was arrested on Saturday, May 23 shortly after 3 a.m. on Peconic Road in Shinnecock Hills, after he gave a forged government ID card to a police officer as identification. He was charged with second degree possession of a forged instrument and brought to police headquarters for processing. He was held for arraignment in the morning.
  • Tawfeq Ahmed, 28, of East Ocean N.J. was arrested on Sunday May 24 at about 3:15 a.m. on Foster Avenue in Hampton Bays after he tackled and punched a female victim. He was charged with second degree harassment and brought to police headquarters for processing. He was held for arraignment in the morning.
  • Michael Casarona, 28, of Bohemia was arrested on Sunday, May 24 at about 8 p.m. on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, after he kicked a female victim during an argument. He was charged with second degree harassment and brought to police headquarters for processing. He was released on an appearance ticket for arraignment at a later date.
  • Michael Nicolaysen, 35, of Manhattan was arrested on Monday, May 25 shortly after 4 a.m. on Montauk Highway in Water Mill, after he threw a hot cup of coffee in the face of a store clerk. He was charged with second degree harassment and brought to police headquarters for processing and held until arraignment. His bail was set at $250.
