The Southampton Village Police conducted an investigation and on Friday announced there was no evidence to substantiate that there was any credible threat, according to a message from Superintendent Scott Farina on the district’s Facebook page.

All regular class schedules and activities will proceed as normal on Friday.

“While these matters have become all too commonplace in our society, it is of the utmost importance that we take these threats seriously, as the health and safety of our students and staff is our first priority,” Farina wrote on the Facebook page.
