State Police Report: Two DWI Arrests, Two Drug Related Arrests

Check out a list of recent crime activity as reported by the state police.

State Police-Riverside report the following arrests in the area over the past week:

  • Kevin B. Connelly, 50, of Hampton Bays, was arrested on Tuesday, June 9 at 10:20 p.m. for driving while intoxicated after being involved in a one car property damage accident on State Route 27 westbound east of exit 65 in Hampton Bays. Connelly was processed and issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on June 22.
  • Brant J. O’Neill, 57, of Sag Harbor, was arrested on Wednesday, June 10 at 11:35 p.m. on a DWI charge after being stopped for traffic infractions on State Route 27 westbound west of exit 66 in Hampton Bays. O’ Neill was released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on June 30.
  • William Quinones-Ocasio, 46, of Selden, was arrested on Wednesday, June 10 at 10:30 a.m. for second degree harassment after being involved in a domestic dispute on Lake Avenue in Riverside. Quinones-Ocasio was arraigned at the Town of Southampton Court and released on his own recognizance.
  • On 6/12/2015, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Matthew T. Gruen, 26, of Shirley, was arrested on Friday at 6:30 a.m. for driving while ability impaired by drugs after being stopped for traffic violation on State Route 27 eastbound in Southampton. Gruen was processed and issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on June 22.
  • Scott L. Eberle, 44 of Southampton was arrested on Friday at 4:50 p.m. for fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), second degree assault, driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation after being stopped for speeding on State Route 27 in Eastport. Eberle was held for arraignment in the Town of Southampton Court.
