Suffolk County Sheriff's Office Hiring New Correction Officers
Here's how to register to take the exam.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — If you're looking for a new career, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office has announced that it's hiring a new team of correction officers this year.
The exam will be given on April 27.
Recruitment tables will be set up at various locations countywide, including St. Joseph's College, Suffolk County Community College, and Roosevelt Field Mall.

To be considered for the Correction Officer 1 position, a candidate must be a United States citizen, have a high school or equivalency diploma, have a valid New York State driver's license, be at least 21 at the time of the appointment, and pass a medical, psychological, and physical agility evaluation, a release from Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon's office said.
