Tuckahoe School District Seeks Help From Local Community in Search For Superintendent
The district created an online survey for residents to complete.

The Tuckahoe Common School District is asking the local community for help in the search for a new superintendent by creating an online survey.
The School Board is seeking input from all members of the Tuckahoe Common School District community and will be using the results of the survey in the screening of candidates.
Residents can click the link here to complete an online survey no later than Friday, July 31.

“Your response will be appreciated by the Board of Trustees as we select the new superintendent,” the district wrote in a message on the website.
In October, Superintendent of Schools Joseph Chris Dyer, who has served since 2010, announced his resignation after accepting a position at the Susquehanna Valley School District in Conklin, New York.

It has been an honor to serve as the Tuckahoe School principal and as the Tuckahoe Common School District superintendent,” Dyer said back in October. “What is different is that the Susquehanna Valley Central School District is very close to where I am from in Pennsylvania.”
In April, he announced he was considered for a position at the Marion Independent School District in Marion, Iowa.
