Two People Injured After Propane Tank Fire in Water Mill

One person was treated for burns on his arms and face.

Two people were hospitalized after a propane tank fire at a home on Flying Point Road in Water Mill on Thursday morning, according to a report in 27east.

One person was treated for burns on his arms and face at Stony Brook University Hospital and the other was transported to Southampton Hospital for ’lesser injuries’, according to the report.

Specific details of the accident were not yet released but Southampton Town Police Sergeant James Cavanaugh told 27east, that ‘a propane tank was involved in the accident, but it did not explode’.
