Woman Stole 2 Purses Worth $1,490 From Hamptons Boutique: Cops
She's facing a felony charge after stealing the purses, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton woman was busted after she allegedly stole pricey handbags in the Hamptons, police said.
According to Southampton Village Police, on April 19 at 5:16 p.m., Jennifer A. Russo, 37, was arrested and charged with fourth degree grand larceny, a felony.
Russo allegedly stole two purses valued at approximately $1,490 from the Perfect Purse Boutique in Southampton on or about April 13, police said.

She was processed and released after posting $500 station house bail, police said.
