BREWSTER, NY — A 19-year-old Brewster resident faces rape and other charges after parents of a young teen with whom he had sex called police.
New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Dulvin E. Andres Ovalle Monday.
After being alerted by parents, investigators determined Andres Ovalle raped a victim known to him who was under the age of 15. Andres Ovalle additionally sent indecent material to the cell phone of the victim, they alleged.
He was charged with Rape in the 2nd degree, Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the 1st degree, both class D felonies, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
Andres Ovalle was arraigned before the village of Brewster Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge O’Rourke to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secure bond. Andres Ovalle is next scheduled to appear before the Court on June 21.
