Arrest In Cyclist's Death On Route 52 Tuesday Night
The Putnam Sheriff says the driver was drunk and left the scene.

KENT, NY — A Lake Carmel man died on his bicycle Tuesday night and a Kent resident has been accused of killing him while driving drunk. Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. said the incident happened in the vicinity of Route 52 and Palmer Trail.
George T. Rosalino, 53, was on his bicycle when hit by a car between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. The driver, Silvio Tenesaca, was intoxicated and left the scene, police alleged.
Tenesaca, 49, faces charges of Vehicular Manslaughter in the 2 nd Degree (D Felony), Leaving the Scene of an Accident, (D Felony), Driving while Intoxicated and Driving while having a BAC in excess of .08. and related traffic violations.

He was arraigned Wednesday in the Town of Kent before the Honorable Justice Kevin
Douchkoff and sent to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000
cash/$100,000 bond, pending a future court date.
