Multi-media artist Lynda O’Connor brings her brilliant and extraordinary talent to Studio Around the Corner in Brewster for the month of August.

O’Connor studied Fine Arts at F.I.T. where she was awarded a scholarship, and continued her studies at SUNY Purchase, SUNY Potsdam, and the Silvermine School of Art.
Experimenting with diverse materials O’Connor focuses on dichotomy: strength/vulnerability, past/present, ancient/new and raw/refined to create works that convey what is most significant in her inner and outer world.
“Whether abstract or representational, what I aim for is emotional resonance: to connect with the viewer through my work.”
O’Connor’s work has been exhibited extensively and is in private collections. This is her first solo exhibit at Studio Around the Corner.
As part of Studio Around the Corner’s ongoing Young Artists series works by Isabel Perez will also be on view.
