Auditions for Rick Abbot's comedy, "Play On!"

Spotlight Arts will be holding open auditions for the Rick Abbot comedy, Play On! Auditions will take place on Monday, August 17th & Tuesday, August 18th from 7-9pm at the Studio Around the Corner 67 Main Street, Brewster NY.

A one-minute comedic monologue should be prepared and memorized for the audition. If cast, $150 tuition fee is required to participate in this educational program.. Rehearsals are Wednesday s from 5-6:30pm and Saturdays from 9 – 11:30am with performances October 16th & 17th. “Play On! Is a hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does.
