Mercy College softball swept St. Thomas Aquinas College in East Coast Conference action this afternoon (April 1) 2-1 and 12-2. Game 2 saw four homers by the Mavericks, including three-run dingers by Jackie Couillard (Wolcott, Conn.) and Kelly Bentson (Brewster), and a grand slam by Jenna Ausiello (Petaluma, Calif.).

Bears Win

Brewster's Marisa Delzio, Nikole Larm and Jenny Neuner each belted a home run with Sammy Chiudina and Alycia Feeney combining for the shutout in the Bears' 16-0 win against visiting Somers April 4 according to Debbie Schechter's post on the LoHud Softball Blog.
