Brewster Chamber Seeks Information on Businesses from the 1950’s
Help the Brewster Chamber of Commerce celebrate its 60th Anniversary!

BREWSTER, NY — The Brewster Chamber of Commerce is planning its 60th Anniversary Shindig. Organizers are looking for lots of information and photos about businesses in Brewster for the past 40-60 years. Plus, anyone who was in the Brewster schools around 1957.
A special event is planned for Aug. 6 at Wells Park in Brewster NY.
Established in 1957, the Brewster Chamber of Commerce has played a crucial role in encouraging a sense of community while promoting growth and supporting partnership among our local business professionals. The Chamber is currently planning for a celebration of this 60-year milestone but we need your participation!

Here’s what they're searching for:
- Businesses that have been in Brewster for the last 40, 50, and 60 years.
- Businesses that have been passed down from generation to generation.
- Anyone who has been in the Chamber since it was established.
- Anyone who remembers or frequented Chamber businesses around 1957.
- Anyone who graduated from Brewster High School in 1957, or has family that went to school during that time.
Organizers will be holding a special meeting at Seven Star School of Performing Arts at 11 a.m. May 23. Light refreshments will be served. Photos, stories, names etc. are all needed and appreciated.
