Brewster Collision Leads to DWI Charge for Danbury Man
Police say he rear-ended a Jeep backing out of a parking spot

New York State Police from Brewster have charged 23-year-old Elmer A. Hernandez-Quevedo of Danbury, Connecticut with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified Misdemeanor.
Troopers were dispatched April 3 to assist the Village of Brewster Police Department with a two-car auto collision that occurred near 542 North Main St.
An investigation concluded that Hernandez-Quevedo backed out of a parking space and collided with the rear of a Jeep. Hernandez-Quevedo was arrested for DWI after he failed standardized field sobriety testing.

Hernandez-Quevedo supplied a breath sample revealing a Blood Alcohol Content of .20 percent and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in Brewster village court on April 18.
