Brewster Man Charged with Aggravated DWI

The 21-year-old's blood alcohol level was more than three times higher than the legal limit, police said.

Christian Cordon-Rodriguez, of Brewster, faces a charge of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers assisted the Village of Brewster Police Department with a traffic stop on North Main Street on Jan. 2. They allege that Cordon-Rodriguez, the driver of the vehicle, was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

The 21-year-old supplied a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .29 percent, more than three times the legal limit of intoxication, police said. He was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the Village of Brewster Court on Jan. 25.
