Brewster Natives Honored by SUNY Oswego

Kaitlin M. Campanini and Bret W. Weiss, both of the Brewster area, achieved Dean's List recognition at SUNY Oswego for spring 2016.

Several area students at SUNY Oswego achieved Dean's List recognition for earning a grade point average of 3.3 to 3.79 in spring 2016.

  • Kaitlin M. Campanini of Stonewall Lane in Brewster, a sophomore majoring in English
  • Bret W. Weiss of Gage Road in Brewster, a sophomore majoring in business administration

Oswego students earning a GPA of 3.8 to 4.0 were recognized on the college's President's List.

Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. U.S. News Media Group counts SUNY Oswego among the top public regional universities in the North for 2016, and the Princeton Review includes Oswego in its 2016 college guidebook "The Best Northeastern Colleges" and in its national list of "Green Colleges."

A 155-year-old comprehensive college in the State University of New York system, Oswego enrolls about 8,000 students in its College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; School of Business; School of Communication, Media and the Arts; and School of Education.
