Brewster school district voters approved the proposed 2016-17 budget at the polls on Tuesday.
Total proposed spending for the year is $92,767,066. Spending will be up about 3 percent over the current budget, but the proposed increase in the tax levy is below the 3 percent tax cap mandated by the state.
