Cameras For Cold Spring From Putnam Sheriff's Office
They're an asset for law enforcement, Sheriff Langley said.

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — The Cold Spring Police Department now has patrol cameras, thanks to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department has provided and installed two patrol cameras in the Village of Cold Spring Police Department at no cost. They will be networked to a server maintained and operated by the Sheriff’s Department.
The cameras are an invaluable tool to law enforcement as they more often than not provide essential information of events leading up to the issuance of anything from a simple traffic citation to criminal offenses.
