Carmel Police Officer's Family Sets Up GoFundMe Page

More than 60 K9s and their officers lined the road to Gary Pietropaolo's funeral.

The family of Gary Pietropaolo, the Carmel police officer killed June 7 when a postal van pulled out of a driveway in front of his motorcycle, started a GoFundMe page.

Its purpose is primarily to create a fund for his fiancee Jaci, to whom he was to have been married last week.

"This memorial fund will help to take care of Jaci who relied on him a great deal. We want her to be able to keep their home they worked tirelessly to build together and planned on raising their family in," his family said.
