Checking On An Audi: Drug Bust On Route 6
State police in Brewster said they had observed an Audi A7 located in a business parking lot and stopped to check the welfare of the driver.

SOUTHEAST, NY — A New York City man was arrested on drug charges after state troopers checked on an Audi parked in a lot off Route 6.
On September 10, 2017, New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested 45-year-old Todd A. Balzano of New York, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, a Class C Felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a Violation.
Troopers said they had observed an Audi A7 located in a business parking lot off of Route 6 and stopped to check the welfare of the driver.

While the Trooper interviewed the driver, identified as Balzano, they said they smelled marijuana emanating from the car.
Following a search conducted by State Police K9 Graydon, Balzano was found to possess crystal methamphetamine and marijuana, police allege.

Balzano was arraigned in the Town of Southeast Justice Court before the Honorable Judge Vercollone and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
