Christmas Tree Pickup in Brewster and Southeast
Residents have two chances in the town, one in the village.

As holiday decorations come down all over Brewster and Southeast, don’t forget to get that tree—now pretty dried up—out to the curb.
Here’s what to do depending on where you live:
- The village of Brewster picks up Christmas trees on the second Tuesday of January. This year, that means trees will be picked up beginning in the early morning of Tuesday, Jan. 13. Please have your tree curbside no later than Jan. 12, village officials ask.
- If you live in the town of Southeast, tree pickup is Jan. 7 and Jan. 14. Put your Christmas tree the same place you place your garbage for the town’s garbage contractor. This only applies to reak trees, and not to garlands and wreaths.
