Connecticut Men Found With Gun, Cocaine On I-684: Police
New York State Police who stopped a car for traffic violations said they found a Glock under the driver's seat.

SOUTHEAST, NY — Two Connecticut men face drug and weapons charges in Putnam County, according to New York State Police.
On April 21, 2018, at 9 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 GMC, on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, which they allege had committed several violations of the vehicle and traffic law.
During the interview of the operator, troopers said they observed part of a handgun receiver under the driver’s seat. After further investigation they alleged that Kurtis M. Leduc, 36, was in possession of a loaded Glock 23 semi-automatic pistol, and Omar S. Wilson, 37, was in possession of approximately 4.5 grams of cocaine.

Police charged Leduc of Waterbury, CT, with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, a class E felony.
Wilson, also of Waterbury, faces a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony.

Leduc and Wilson were arraigned before the town of Patterson Court and sent to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. Both subjects are scheduled to appear before the court on April 19.
