NYPD Cop, Brewster Resident, Exposed Himself To Pre-Teen Girls, Police Say

Officer Adam Fridson was suspended after his arrest Tuesday morning, police said.

BREWSTER, NY β€” An NYPD cop accused of exposing himself to two pre-teen girls in the Bronx was arrested on Manhattan's Lower East Side Tuesday morning. He was apparently caught on surveillance video. Police said Officer Adam Fridson, a Brewster resident, has been suspended.

Police searched for a week for a suspect who flashed two girls, 12 and 7, in front of a funeral home last Wednesday, the NYPD said.

They allege Fridson, a 12-year veteran of the NYPD's Transit Bureau, which polices subway stations, approached the girls on East Tremont Avenue in the Schulerville neighborhood at 4:10 p.m. on Oct. 11.

Police arrested Fridson at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday within the NYPD's 5th Precinct, which covers Chinatown and Little Italy, the NYPD said.
