Crash Into Condo Building Was DWI, Police Said

The Southeast resident was arrested and taken to the hospital.

SOUTHEAST, NY — A Southeast resident who drove into a building in the Holly Stream condominium complex faces a charge of driving while intoxicated.

At 8:07 p.m. Jan. 17, Deputy Shawn Iarussi was dispatched to a one-car personal injury automobile accident involving a car crashed into a building at the Holly Stream condos, Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reported.

Iarussi placed Frank Goor, 61, under arrest. Goor was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for medical assistance. There were no other injuries.

Goor is scheduled to appear in the Town of Southeast Justice Court, at a future date and time.
