Decisions Made for Brewster Schools

The Monday snow is causing some cancellations and early dismissals.

• Brewster Central School District - Early Dismissal. 11:10 - Wells MS 11:15 - Brewster HS 12:15 - C.V.Starr Intermediate School 12:25 - JFK Elementary School
• Carmel Central School District - Early Dismissal. 10:15 CHS, 11:00 GFMS, 11:50 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS.
• Green Chimneys School - All afterschool activities are cancelled for day students on our Brewster Campus.

Another round of snow—or the possibility of snow—is facing the lower Hudson Valley.Rockland and Putnam counties were put under Winter Weather Advisories early Monday morning.Those counties along with Westchester are under Winter Weather Advisories until 6 p.m. Monday.

The area is on the edge of what Hudson Valley Weather’s meteorologist Bill Potter calls “a monstrous coastal storm.”
