"The Drowsy Chaperone" ~ Musical this Summer in Brewster

The Brewster Theater Company is thrilled to announce their summer musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. A multiple Tony Award winner, The Drowsy Chaperone is a rousing send-up of Jazz-age musicals. You’re invited into the living room of a shy but enthusiastic theater fan for a special presentation of his favorite record, a little known 1928 musical which comes to life onstage as the record plays. Join a famous bride-to-be, a rollerskating groom, a tap-dancing best man, a Valentino wanna-be, gangsters in disguise, and a boozy aging diva for a wedding you’ll never forget! The Brewster Theater Company is a community theater located in Putnam County, New York. We are celebrating our 15th year of providing artistic opportunities to residents of the Lower Hudson Valley and Connecticut.
