Family Offers Reward For Info About Fatal Hit-and-Run On I-84

Police are also seeking the public's help.

BREWSTER, NY — The family of Daniel Crawford Jr. is offering a $5,000 reward to the individual that can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Crawford in a hit and run accident April 7 on I-84 westbound near exit 2 in Danbury.

Crawford, of Brewster, New York, was struck and killed by a car that kept going. Connecticut state troopers responding to the scene at 1 a.m. found a Jeep Grand Cherokee stopped in the right shoulder and the dead man in the right lane, police said.
