Fireworks Times 3 in Putnam County

This year Putnam County is home to three different fireworks displays: Southeast, Lake Carmel, and Cold Spring will serve as hosts, each with their own unique features.

On Friday, July 3, the Town of Southeast Fireworks Spectacular is set to light up the night sky at 9:30 PM. It is the most easily accessible option for those travelling from out of town. A shuttle will take those who chose to either use MetroNorth or park at the Southeast station, and Independent Way is conveniently located at Exit 19 of Interstate 84.

The Town of Southeast display will feature live music and an expansive landscape to set up a lawn chair to enjoy the day before the show. There is a rain date of Saturday, July 11. Be sure to get there early, as the crowd will be in the thousands and remember that no open flame grilling or alcohol is permitted.

Also slated for July 3, there will be fireworks displayed over Lake Carmel. With the show set to begin at 8:45 PM, head over to the lake a bit early and set up a blanket on its shoreline. The fireworks will be launched from the eastern part of the lake, creating plenty of phenomenal viewing locations.

On Saturday, July 4, the Village of Cold Spring will be holding their annualfireworks. The fireworks will be sure to light up the night sky with a beautiful view of the Hudson River as their backdrop.

Due to the popularity of this event, visitors should arrive around 8:00 PM.
