Fishermen Find Body at the East Branch Creek
Police are investigating the 22-year-old homeless man's death.

The body of a homeless man was found by two fishermen along the bank of the East Branch creek in Brewster yesterday.
New York State Police at Brewster said they received the report at 9:45 a.m. May 17.
The victim, Marvin H. Castillo-Vasquez, age 22, was found in an areaβunder the Borden train trestleβwhich is known to be frequented by the homeless, police said.
The investigation into Castillo-Vasquezβ death is on-going with an autopsy pending to determine cause of death. However, at this time no foul play is suspected.
State police were assisted by the Village of Brewster Police and also the MTA Police due to the close proximity to the train trestle, which is on Metro Northβs Harlem line.
